I have decided to explore a medium in which I only use minimalist shapes and Repetition in order to create an outcome that is different to the ones I saw when studying the competitors within the market. I chose to move away from photography and focus on the details within the illustrations themselves This was done in order to create something that appealed both to younger audiences as well as older audiences. I achieved this by creating something that looks very clean and professional which would appeal to the older generations who prefer more serious and grounded design yet i kept the lines smooth and colourful in order to appeal to a younger audience as well, as the use of playful colour can be used to evoke emotions and help accumulate the user to the site. I think this was a success since I was able to create something which encapsulates the entire demographic through one design which can be shifted and changed in order to create a new composition every time giving it endless creative possibilities when it comes to marketing.
I chose to keep the colour red in order to promote the user to be interested within this printed piece of media and I think the inclusion of white space will also help with this more formal product which will help the user navigate the site or allow the user to develop a deeper understanding of the brand itself. I also included a nice illustration on the back in order to contrast the possible information that can sit within the leaflet. This time however I include the use of gold in order to draw back to the prestige feel of the place.
Here is a showcase of how my outcome would feature on Banners i think the banner will act best on white space since OOH advertising is very fast therefore the details must be captured by the user at a very fast speed therefore less detail = more engagement on the go. I left room for text which can include the following: catch phrases, Imagery, event descriptions and other interesting pieces of information for the user. I chose to stick with the colour red since the colour itself has connotations which link with the feeling of alertness therefore it would be the perfect colour to use in OOH advertisements.
